1956 Chevrolet Corvette
Brought back from near extinction, the 1956 Corvette was restyled with stunning new designs including an all-new body featuring “concave” sides with a two-tone option, outside door handles, roll-up windows and an optional removable hardtop. The 6 cylinder engine was dropped and the Turbo-Fire 265 V8 was now standard, and when coupled with the close ratio 3-speed manual transmission it offered a great package for Sports Car Enthusiasts.
